Looks great !!, Mum visiting soon, looking forward to it.
I do know that with businesses there is always a thousand & 1 things to do, here's another... under Hotel Facilities tab: "...bran new gym.." should be brand. Sorry to be pedantic. Cheers

Why does your dates and calender contain nothing. Makes it hard for people to pick a tour😕

Recently our group booked a tour through the Jindabyne Hotel - The Life of Riley.
The hotel was great - clean rooms, nice food, courteous staff. The day excursions to areas and displays concentrating on the Snowy Scheme, we found most interesting for their historical and human stories.
The only down side was our guide, Alan, whose rudeness we endured for 4 days.
His knowledge of the local area was extensive and informative - to be expected from a tour guide, and was thoroughly appreciated.
What was not appreciated were his derogatory comments towards several people in our group.
e.g. "are your eyes/legs painted on?"
"here's the bus for you legless geriatrics" - to people who genuinely needed a walking frame and another who had a prosthetic leg.
"there are always dumb people who don't get jokes."
There is no reason (except for self gratification) to make disparaging remarks about professions and hobbies - teachers, bank managers, doctors, cyclists, and his continual belittling disparaging referrals to Greenies (and anyone else who didn't agree with him.)
We also found his constant referrals to his father in law's properties and achievements unnecessary and boring, as well, his judgemental comments about local farmers.
Maybe a passing reference to some of the above would have been acceptable, but as these were repeated several times daily, it all became just too much and really spoilt our trip.
Some of his remarks on many topics bordered on being disgusting. We were advised not to ask him to modify his remarks as that would only encourage him.
Our advice, before you book your tour, ask who the guide will be.......

Excellent tour,we visited great places and especially Cooma Goal very informative. Food great at the Hotel and great view from unit. Well worth the money. Tour guide was a bit rude in some instances but generally very informative about the areas we visited.

Rooms, food and staff very good. However, have to agree that guide, Alan, never stopped talking and many of his comments were rude and unnecessary.

Have been trying to organise dates for a group of Seniors to visit with this organisation for a few months now. They seem to be disorganised & have a lack of ability to return emails & phone calls. I have just about given up, which is a pity.
